Abstrak

Penelitian ini menyelidiki dampak penggunaan media sosial pada remaja di Jakarta, dengan fokus pada interaksi online, pengaruh dukungan, dampak psikologis, perilaku konsumtif, dan persepsi diri. Pendekatan kuantitatif yang melibatkan pemodelan persamaan struktural dengan sampel 150 remaja digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara variabel-variabel ini. Statistik deskriptif, hasil model pengukuran, analisis validitas diskriminan, dan hasil model struktural dieksplorasi. Temuan ini mengungkapkan hubungan positif yang signifikan antara interaksi online, pengaruh dukungan, dampak psikologis, dan perilaku konsumtif/persepsi diri remaja. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai dinamika media sosial di kalangan remaja Jakarta, yang memberikan implikasi bagi para pendidik, orang tua, pembuat kebijakan, dan pemasar dalam menavigasi tantangan dan peluang yang dihadirkan oleh media sosial.
