Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Sosial dan Interaksi Fisik terhadap Kualitas Hidup dan Kesejahteraan Psikologis Remaja di Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Jakarta

Penelitian ini menyelidiki interaksi yang kompleks antara penggunaan media sosial, interaksi fisik, dan kesejahteraan remaja sekolah menengah pertama di Jakarta. Sampel yang terdiri dari 150 partisipan disurvei untuk mengeksplorasi frekuensi dan durasi penggunaan media sosial, pola interaksi tatap muka, dan hubungannya dengan kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan psikologis. Pemodelan Persamaan Struktural dengan Kuadrat Terkecil Parsial (SEM-PLS) digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang bernuansa antara penggunaan media sosial dan kesejahteraan, dengan sedikit dampak negatif yang teramati. Khususnya, interaksi fisik muncul sebagai prediktor yang kuat untuk kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan psikologis, menggarisbawahi perannya yang tak tergantikan dalam perkembangan remaja. Yang mengejutkan, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi hubungan yang sinergis, yang menunjukkan bahwa dampak negatif dari penggunaan media sosial terhadap kesejahteraan dapat dikurangi jika diimbangi dengan interaksi tatap muka secara teratur. Analisis mediasi menyoroti peran pengurangan penggunaan media sosial sebagai mekanisme di mana interaksi fisik secara positif mempengaruhi kesejahteraan. Temuan studi ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi para pendidik, orang tua, dan pembuat kebijakan, yang menekankan pentingnya pendekatan yang seimbang antara interaksi digital dan fisik dalam membina kesejahteraan remaja sekolah menengah pertama di Jakarta.
